We share a delicious recipe… for your feet!
Take advantage of the weekend, or the end of the day, and dedicate a moment to a regenerating foot bath – you’ll love it. We suggest that you repeat this self-care often, your feet, and your whole body, will thank you.
Understand the importance of taking care of your feet, as they are the ones that support our weight and walk all the paths.
Many years ago, Asian peoples realized the benefits of regular foot baths for the health and well-being of the body. This is possible because the feet have nerve endings that connect to the various organs.
Some of the best-known benefits of foot baths are: relief from muscle and bone pain, activation of blood circulation, reduction of swelling and discomfort in the legs and feet.
The foot bath is also indicated for relieving anxiety and insomnia, as well as for treating mycoses and colds.
All you have to do is add a bucket of warm water and a few special ingredients to turn the experience into a total home spa.
A simple recipe:
- Add 5 drops of Lavender Angustifolia Essential Oil to a handful of coarse salt;
- Pour the mixture into a bucket of hot water;
- Dip your feet in the water and make sure your ankles are immersed;
- Enjoy the small spa for 10-20 minutes;
P.S : Never let the water get cold and add hot water whenever necessary. Don’t forget to dry your feet well and put on some warm socks.
