How many sessions are recommended?
The number of sessions depends on individual goals. Many patients notice improvements from the first session, but more sessions may be needed or a treatment cycle may be completed if recommended by the therapist who accompanies you in order to provide longer-lasting results.
Can I do it if I have sensitive skin?
Yes, you can do this even with sensitive skin, as long as the red algae is used in a gentle, adapted formulation. You should share your skin conditions with us beforehand to ensure that the treatment is safe and appropriate.
Is the treatment safe during pregnancy?
It depends on the case. If you can't, you can opt for soothing and moisturizing wraps without algae (for example, with aloe vera, rosehip, colloidal oatmeal and/or pink clay).
Does the treatment help reduce cellulite?
Yes. Seaweed wrapping tones the skin, improves circulation and helps smooth out irregularities and cellulite, but you should assess your condition beforehand to ensure it's the most advisable approach.
Do I need any preparation before the session?
No. We just suggest arriving relaxed and with clean skin to get the most out of the treatment. Always share whether you take medication or have thyroid conditions.
