She has a degree in Social Sciences, in the areas of Psychology and Social Policy, and is the mother of 5 breastfed children. She has extensive international and national training in the areas to which she has dedicated her entire life and in which she was a pioneer in Portugal. Breastfeeding support is the area to which she devotes most of her life, and she is an Internationally Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and moderator of La Leche League. She has been supporting babies, mothers and families for over 20 years.
She is a doula, baby massage instructor, perinatal educator and babywearing consultant.
She has given training courses in her areas of specialization, has been a guest speaker at national and international conferences and events related to breastfeeding and is the author of the book "Breastfeeding: The Natural Choice for Your Baby".
