She is a Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a doula for pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period and a trainer for the Portuguese Doula Network.
Through its work, it contributes to the well-being of women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and breastfeeding, and to defining and achieving their goals.
She is the author of the book "Quero Amamentar com Confiança e Conforto" (I Want to Breastfeed with Confidence and Comfort) (Pergaminho, 2024).
As an activist for the defense of women's reproductive rights, the promotion of breastfeeding and the eradication of obstetric violence, she is a member of the governing bodies of various associations, including the Portuguese Association of Certified Lactation Consultants (APCLC), the Breastfeeding Movement in Portugal and the Obstetric Violence Observatory (OVOpt). She is a volunteer at ASA - Ao Serviço da Amamentação (At the Service of Breastfeeding).
