She is a Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a doula for pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period and a trainer for the Portuguese Doula Network.<\/p>\n\n
Through its work, it contributes to the well-being of women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and breastfeeding, and to defining and achieving their goals.<\/p>\n\n
She is the author of the book \"Quero Amamentar com Confian\u00e7a e Conforto\" (I Want to Breastfeed with Confidence and Comfort) (Pergaminho, 2024).<\/p>\n\n
As an activist for the defense of women's reproductive rights, the promotion of breastfeeding and the eradication of obstetric violence, she is a member of the governing bodies of various associations, including the Portuguese Association of Certified Lactation Consultants (APCLC), the Breastfeeding Movement in Portugal and the Obstetric Violence Observatory (OVOpt).
